Tai Chi

Slow, meditative movement for balance, relaxation, body awareness, and internal strength.

Tai Chi translates as “Great Ultimate Boxing,” but its slow, meditative movements are more about exploring mind, body, and awareness than what many people in the West think of as boxing. Practiced consistently, Tai Chi can support flexibility, balance, coordination, relaxation, strength, stress reduction, and a calmer relationship with the body and mind.

Ken teaches Tai Chi as both a movement art and a healing practice. Students learn to move slowly, relax deeply, listen to the body, and develop a more stable connection to the ground.

Good fit for
  • Beginners
  • People seeking better balance
  • People interested in stress reduction
  • Martial artists and athletes
  • Students looking for long-term internal practice

Chi Gung

Breath, posture, movement, and repetition used to support vitality, focus, and whole-body ease.

Chi Gung, also written Qigong, can be translated as “Energy Work.” The practice uses posture, breath, movement, attention, and repetition to support the body’s energy system, focus the mind, and encourage ease through the whole body.

Ken’s approach to Chi Gung emphasizes practical experience: feeling the body from the inside, building awareness, and learning how simple movements can support vitality and resilience over time.

Good fit for
  • People seeking a gentle movement practice
  • Students interested in breath and energy work
  • People who want to build calm, focus, and body awareness
  • Students looking for a practice that can be adapted to their capacity

Meditation

A practice for calming the mind, deepening awareness, and supporting emotional balance.

Meditation is a direct way to cultivate awareness, steadiness, and inner freedom. Through consistent practice, students can learn to relate differently to stress, thought patterns, emotion, and the body.

Ken has studied meditation and spiritual practices for many years. His teaching connects meditation with movement practices such as Tai Chi, Chi Gung, Hsing-I, I Liq Chuan, and Baguazhang, creating a fuller path for the evolution of body and mind.

Good fit for

  • Beginners
  • People seeking mental calm
  • Students interested in body-mind practice
  • People wanting to combine stillness with movement

Private Sessions

One-on-one instruction for movement, relaxation, awareness, and personal practice.

Private sessions are a good option for people who want focused attention, have specific questions, or need a more personalized approach. Ken can help students work with movement, relaxation, body awareness, Tai Chi principles, Chi Gung practices, meditation, or a combination of these.
